This chapter introduces the Elliptical Songs Model as a unifying mental and metaphorical framework for conceptualizing Creative Genesis in expert cognition. Its primary function within the book is to provide an intuitive yet structurally precise visualization of how novel creations emerge from deeply internalized experiential knowledge, preparing the ground for subsequent theoretical formalization. The model represents complete experiential products as Ellipses, their meaningful constituents as Components, and their finer internal elements as Sub-Componential structures, all organized through Inter-Component and Intra-Component Networks. By formalizing creative material as a nested, multi-layered graph, the chapter clarifies how expertise depends on dense relational organization rather than isolated elements. The chapter further explains how prolonged practice and embodied exposure lead to the formation of an extensive Neural Megasset stored in Implicit Memory, enabling experts to dissolve boundaries between previously distinct Ellipses. Creative Emergence is defined as a process in which Components are released into Implicit Working Memory, recombined through novel relational configurations, and stabilized into a new Ellipse. The model also introduces a dynamic perspective in which transient Relational Pulses and Electric Arcs continuously form and collapse, supporting both Specialized Recognition and the emergence of novel phenomena. Overall, the chapter functions as a conceptual bridge between phenomenological description and formal theory, establishing the Elliptical Songs Model as a foundational visualization for understanding Creative Emergence across domains.
